Nicholas Sarkozy
Citing information broadcast by Rompress, Zëri reports that French President Nicholas Sarkozy said yesterday in Budapest that the independence of Kosovo is inevitable. After a meeting with his Hungarian counterpart, Sarkozy added that independence should happen in the best possible circumstances and that Europe should remain united on this issue.

The Hungarian President said Romania would remain loyal and a partner of the European Union about the decision, but would not recognize the unilateral declaration of Kosovo’s independence.
