Future flag of Kosovo?

The flag will not bear any national symbols, will not have an eagle on it, but it could have a white map of Kosovo set against a blue background, and it could be a tricolor flag with a horizontal or vertical alignment.

Mentor Shala and Besnik Nuli, ethnic Albanians, are among the finalists and proposed a Kosovo map in white on a blue background, surrounded by five stars.

The symbols are expected to be approved by the Kosovo Assembly after declaration of independence.

Symbolism is important, and while the artistic viewpoint should not be ignored, neither should the political viewpoint. It would be nice to see the three final candidate designs though...

Kosova could have had a flag full of colours, full of live, something like South African flag. We need a lively flag that represents the lively people of Kosova. The good news is that that flags and other state symbols can always be changed at a later stage. Thanks.

Thet should heve them ready on the day of declaration of independence they should be posted around the country that morning so when people wake up they should wake up in a new country with new symbols new identity and new speling ; KOSOVA.
