New Kosova Report
Hebib Ahmeti showing signs of torture
A Macedonian daily has published a video showing the police interrogation of an ethnic Albanian man showing clear signs of torture. Lajmi newspaper has revealed the video long 2 min and 46 seconds.

What is shown to be Hebib Ahmeti was arrested during the Macedonian police operation in the mountainous village of Brodec, near Tetova in western Macedonia on November 7, 2007. Ahmeti is shown sitting down in the interrogation room used by the authorities to question the 13 captured in the operation Mountain Storm. He is severely beaten with major wounds to his face and to the upper body and has chained hands and feet. A water container presumably used to bring the detainee back to conscience is nearby. The policeman questions him out while recording the whole conversation with a mobile phone.

Macedonian security operation in the village of Brodec two months ago was criticized by the local Albanian population and politicians for the excessive use of force which led to significant destruction of civilian property and the loss of six lives. According to the Macedonian interior ministry the raid was a successful hit against “Albanian terrorists” who were destabilizing the region.

While interrogating Ahmeti, the policemen among other questions ask him about his brother, who was murdered during the raid. Ahmeti is forced to confess that he killed his brother.

Thirteen of the arrested remain in custody accused of charges of "terrorism, association for hostile actions and unlawful manufacturing, keeping and trading of weapons and other explosive materials.”

Macedonia saw an armed conflict brake out in 2001 between the Albanian National Army and the Macedonian security forces, ending with a peace deal signed in Ohrid where extensive civil and political rights were promised to the Albanian population in Macedonia. Albanians claim that the Macedonian government has not lived to the promises made in the Ohrid Agreement.

Macedonian government has been a strong supporter of Kosovo independence.

albanians in Macedonia
What Macedonian athorities do to ethnic Albanians, wich make more than 20%,will never be forgoten!Same goes for Serbs!I think that Macedonian community in all should demonstrate against this brutal acts, wich are wrong period!History will remember, and Albanians will remember, who and what thay did to us.Lets make one thing clear, there is no Albanian terrorists in Macedonia nor in Kosova!Anyone has the right to stand up for their rights, and the freedom they deserve. And Albanians in The State of Kosova and Macedonia have demonstreted just that, and we will never stop!We will do whatever is nesesery to win our freedom and what belongs to us!We must not forget that what Macedonians an Serbs claim for us to be,are all pure LIES.Also, keep in your mind that we Albanians are the OLDEST NATION IN BALKAN,and we will not be a pray to no one in this World we live in! -- Fisnik Jakupi from Kamenica/Dardana,State of KOSOVA.

I don't know what you guys are thinking about this but still, if these people really did wrong and were presumably trying to get the control of the piece of land they come from, they have to be treated like that in some respect. If Macedonian gvt lies upon this operation they'll have to face our anger. Macedonian gvt must be illiterate or simply dumb by badly beating up our fellows or even building on what represents our history (Mother Theresa's house for example). Don't feed anger you Macedonians.

In all the countries sorrounding Kosova albanians are treated like second class citizens or even worse like shooting targets and torture dummies. This needs to stop and if we albanians are expecting from Eu whores to do this for us we have something else coming.
We must stand and let the heavens fall.
