United Kingdom on Wednesday officially appointed David Blunt, its first ambassador to Kosovo.
“Blunt has been appointed Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Republic of Kosovo,” the UK Foreign Office said in a press statement.

Otherwise, Blunt has been head of the British Office in Pristina, now the British Embassy, Pristina, since January 2006. He began his civil service career in 1978 in the Ireland department of the Foreign Office and has served overseas in Vienna, Beijing, Canberra, Oslo and Gibraltar.
