KFOR has work to do in Kosovo
Whilst on a brief visit to Pristina, German Foreign Minister Franz Josef Jung assured Kosovo that Germany will assist with integration into Euro-Atlantic structures.

In addition, he expressed the readiness of Germany to help Kosovo economically, which he said will result in stability and security in the region.

According to Jung, the situation in the North is very important which necessitates NATO’s presence in Kosovo.

“The incidents that occurred in Mitrovica some days ago prove the need to maintain the highest level of security. We are satisfied with the response of Kosovo leaders on this issue, and the measures taken by KFOR to ensure a safe environment there,” Jung said.
