It is expected that very soon Kosovo will submit its applications for membership in the most important international organizations.

Despite all the warnings of Russia that it will block the membership of Kosovo in the international institutions and organizations, the Kosovo Government is expected to ask for membership in the IMF, World Bank, UN, EU, NATO and OSCE.

Kosovo Prime Minister Hashim Thaçi was the first to announce this. “As Kosovo institutions, we have to start immediately the process of applying for membership in the International Monetary Fund and World Bank. Very soon, the procedures for entry into the UN, EU, with previous engagements of NATO and OSCE, will start.” Thaçi said.
