EU mission in Kosovo has started
Dailies report that Yves de Kermabon, chief of the ESDP mission in Kosovo, told AFP yesterday that 20 members of the new EU mission in Kosovo have already deployed and additional deployment will follow, only after further consultation with the United Nations.

De Kermabon said he was in New York to coordinate the deployment of the new mission with the outgoing UNMIK. “The deployment has begun; the first elements were deployed last week and I am here to prepare the mission in cooperation with the United Nations. There is a need for coordination,” he was quoted as saying.
