The anthem of Kosovo

Dailies report on the announcement of the competition for an anthem for Kosovo. Assembly President Jakup Krasniqi did not rule out the possibility of the anthem of the state to be accompanied by words.

“The anthem could consist of music only, but it could also be music and text together. It should not be text which is similar to some other anthems. It should be simply a new text and it should consist of criteria set within Ahtisaari’s comprehensive proposal,” Krasniqi said.
