ICTY: Haradinaj can go home

The International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia rendered its decision shortly before 17.00 hours today on the 'Haradinaj and the others' case.

The Former Prime Minister, Haradinaj, 39, was acquitted of all charges filed against him by the prosecution. From the group of the three accused, Idriz Bala was also found not guilty of all charges against him. The third accused, Lahi Brahimaj was sentenced to 6 years of imprisonment.

Judge Alphons Orie said during the verdict that Haradinaj and Bala can leave the court's headquarters after the necessary procedures.
