Exiting Prishtina's International Airport, former Kosovo PM said he feels very good among Kosovo's people, and headed home to his family.
Together with Haradinaj arrived Idriz Balaj, the other ex-KLA fighter also acquitted of all charges by the Tribunal. A ceremony was organized by the Alliance for the Future of Kosova (AAK), former PM's political party. At 19:30 hours tonight Haradinaj will address the citizens of Kosovo in a speech upon his return home. The event will be aired live by Kosovo's Radio Television (RTK).
Former PM Haradinaj returned to Kosovo three years after the prosecution at the Hague Tribunal charged him of crimes he was yesterday pronounced unguilty of.

... At Serge, I can tell you are one of those people that choose something that suits you over something that doesn't. If you're claming like many Serbs do, that the KLA was a terrorist organization, than what was crna ruka (the black hand)?? A Serbian terrorist organization (a real one) grew stronger and widespread especially during the 90's. In the critical year of 89-99 "Black Hand' was responsible for many kidnappings of Albanian kids and thousands of beatings and murders of Albanian civilians. Let me explain how they worked, crna Ruka (black hand) as they were referred to drove around in black SUV's with tinted windows and hunted on random Albanians just because they felt like it. It is sad to compare the KLA (freedom fighters) to a Serbian terrorist gang like crna ruka. Which was a mere mini organizations on top of the Serbian paramilitary who also enjoyed murdering Albanians for fun. We all know the KLA did not have the capacity to commit the crimes that are claimed by Serbians. They did not have effective weapons, actually they lacked weapons in general. And most of the KLA composed of people who had already lost their family in the hands of criminal Serbs, and had nothing else left in the world so they chose to retaliate in an attempt to gain revenge for their loss. I don't blame them one bit because at least they fought with the paramilitary not with civilians and little children who they could possibly claim are terrorists at one years of age. |

... Predrag, The United States Senator Joe Biden who is the Chairman of Foreign Relations Committee, commented on Haradinaj's indictment, "In the overall post-Yugoslav context, Mr. Haradinaj's willingness after his indictment to surrender voluntarily and go to The Hague is striking. It stands in glaring contrast to the behavior of the three most infamous individuals indicted by The Hague, all of whom are still fugitives, resisting arrest: former Bosnian Serb General Ratko Mladic, former Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic, and former Croatian General Ante Gotovina." http://biden.senate.gov/newsroom/det...fm?id=234433&& Ante Gotovina is now in Hague as far as I know. So, Serbs are still resisting..interesting... If Ratko Mladic and Radovan Karadzic are innocent, how come they are afraid to show up at Hague? huh? |

... He was charged, went to the Hague to claim his innocence, and he was found innocent of war crimes and other charges. He is now entitled to his good name restored. Serbs here cannot lecture Albanians on this topic. At least Ramush had the courage to face his accusers. The cowards Mladic and Karadic have hidden for years for a reason - we say what they did. Ramush acted honourably, and will be regarded as a hero in Kosovo. Urime!!! |

... Predrag Because of the "facts" presented by the prosecutors he is released. Those were no facts, those were a disgrace for any cort...let alone an international tribunal. Do you think they judge ond convict by the same standard as serbian courts do? Do you remember how 143 Albanians from Gjakova were tried in Nish in 2000? It was called "Mass trial of the century" and judge's decision was based on "presumptions that because they lived in a hostile territory they had to be associated with all other groups who were involved in direct activity against serb forces". How pathetic is that? And at the end he had concluded:" It is impossible to determine individual involvment of all of you and as such this decision is brought as a group". Boooom...1,614 years of prison. You grew up in a place where albanians were prosecutated regularly and it hurts that others don't do the same. Again, you have considered him a warlord and raised charges against him based on gossips, heresays and make-up stories which did convinced Hague to bring charges against Haradinaj; but when time came for people like you to prove them YOU CHOKED!!!! So, let's talk about facts, shall we???? You're an idiot! |

... How would I know? I’m sure it’s a question albanians ask a lot, I know because these are facts! These are FACTS stated, NOT by Serbian propaganda, but by The Hague! You talk about Haradinaj being a HERO? Yes, a TYPICAL albanian hero. Killing thousands of women and children! VERY BRAVE!! The KLA NEVER had the balls to face up to Serbian forces. And when they did, they were wiped out! Haradinaj committed some grave crimes against innocent men and women, most of whom were elderly! This verdict is disgraceful because of the innocent victims. This is NOT about Kara-Miladic! That is a totally sperate issue. Try and stick to the facts instead of using stupid weak clichés as your defence for supporting this mass murder! |

... Hey Predrag, Let me ask you something: How would you know? I know that you read on the internet but that's not first hand information. Then, it comes the media of choice and yours is probably russian media. You know what though? He's free and he's back. And guess who's thinking twice about remaining in Kosova right now. Haradinaj is / was a warrior turned politician. That's his trade. He volunteered to go to Hague, he was tried and he was released. That's all it is to it. You can say anything you want but that's not going to send him back to Hague. It may satisfy your ego, but that's not worth much either. But what about Kara-Mladic huh? Why don't they give themselves up and go to Hague? They are presumed innocent until it is proven otherwise, so they start with 50/50 chances. But they won't right? And would you care to tell us why? Please don't say because the whole world is against serbs. That's cheesy and it dosn't fly anymore. But I could try to explain why they can't go to Hague: -Because Hague is the last destination for every serb who was indicted for war crimes. -Milosevic, Seselj, Todorovic, Ojdanic.... Remember when serbs attacked Slovenia? Remember Srbija do Tokija? Well, look at you now. I know, pathetic isn't it? Well don't be ashamed...you can cry, you can let it out and then, maybe you'll see that you have lost every possible thing you were after. We should be ashamed of ourselves? Why? Because we kicked your but out of Kosovo? Because we have our independence? Because Albania joined NATO? Because we, after all, are not war criminals? You're an idiot! |

... A MURDER, RAPIST & TERRORIST is FREE! The reason behind the prosecution failure to send former terrorist leader behind the bars lies in the widespread fear among witnesses. Albanian criminal groups were involved in extensive witness intimidation after nine key witnesses of Haradinaj's crimes were brutally murdered!! Tthe leading prosecution witness, commander of UCK's rival rebel formation called FARK, Tahir Zemaj, his son and nephew were shot and killed during the investigation and another witness, Kujtim Berisha, died two weeks before the trial when he was hit by a car. Ilir Seljmaj was killed by a knife after a staged bar fight in which he had aparently attacked six people before they stabbed him. Bekim Mustafa and Auni Eljezaj were killed in shotgun attacks, while Sabaheta Tava and Isuk Hakljaj were killed in an assassination plot after which the cars with their bodies were put in flames. "No other case before the tribunal had witness intimidation been so widespread," prosecution said, and judges complained they had serious difficulties in getting many of almost 100 witnesses to testify freely. This dark decision by The Hague tribunal shows that the purpose of that court is not justice. This ruling by the tribunal mocks justice and the innocent victims who suffered at Haradinaj's hands! For albanians to celebrate the release of this murder and rapist is a clear sign that Serbs are not safe in Kosovo. Regardless of your nationality, how can ANY decent human being celebrate in the release of this evil murder? You albanians should all be ashamed of yourselves! |
