Montenegro PM Milo Djukanovic
Montenegrin Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic in an interview for the Bosnian Daily "Dnevni Avaz", has stated that in regards to Kosovo, Montenegro will take into account all circumstances and the need to preserve internal stability.

He also said that his government will coordinate its foreign policy with the EU and NATO.

Asked why Montenegro has not yet recognized Kosovo, Djukanovic said that his country cares for its national interests. The PM assessed that Kosovo "can bring about storm within Serbia, as well as throughout the region". Nevertheless, Djukanovic has reconfirmed that Montenegro aims at becoming part of the EU and NATO, which means that the country will share its foreign policies with these two organizations.

However, Djukanovic has declared that these steps will be taken while taking into account internal circumstances, as well as the need to preserve internal and regional stability.

Prime Minister Djukanovic said that Kosovo is the last security issue in the Balkans, the solution of which indicates that we are beginning to see the creation of conditions for a better European future for the region of Western Balkans.

Dear Mark,
Whatever decision will be taken between minorities in Montenegro is their business.
You shall know that “Serbian in Kosova will have the same rights as Albanian in Presheva Valley”. Nothing more, but nothing less.
