Seal of the Government of Kosovo

Officials from the Ministry of Local Government and Administration have made public details concerning the implementation of decentralization plans as foreseen in the Ahtisaari package.

According to the document, the "strategic aim of the Kosovo Government is the creation of a stable and effective system of local government in the whole territory of Kosovo, which would ensure good living conditions for all its citizens, paying special attention to the special needs and concerns of communities in Kosovo".

The Action Plan involves tasks of the four working groups for decentralization.

	... As Kosovo is a Serbian province this has no meaning what so ever. In general I think decentralization is good however!
