A Kosovo concern has begun the construction of a 400 million euro mixed-use skyscraper in Prishtina, Kosovo’s capital. The project will be completed in two phases with a total completion time of six years.
Investment is being done the Kosovar company ENK Invest Group in cooperation with four other firms from Albania. The project is partially financed by International Finance Corporation at 75 million euro and the Austria-based Raiffeisen Bank with another 15 million.

The complex is located on Bill Clinton Boulevard close to the center of Prishtina on an area of 26,000 m2. With a floor space of 285,000 m2, the complex consists of 100 luxury apartments, a 165 m 42-story-high high-end office tower, the highest in the Balkans, a shopping center, a hotel and six level subterranean garages.

The complex will be built in Lakrishte, an ex-industrial zone in Prishtina, which is now foreseen by the new regulation plan for this area to become a high-rise district.

ENK Invest says that the interest is already high and one of the tenants is expected to be Raiffeisen with 5,400 m2.

The architectural work has been done by the Prishtina-based ANARCH architectural studio of Astrit Nixha. Construction is being performed by the Croatian firm Konstruktor and will employ 2,000 people.

Five other companies are planning to build similar projects in Prishtina.

Construction for this project has already begun. It is being built in Lakrishte, also called Prishtina's future "Manhattan."
