International Steering Group for Kosovo will meet on 7 and 22 May in Prishtina.

The first meeting of ISG today will gather the diplomats that head embassies and diplomatic offices of the ISG member states in Prishtina.

Talking points are expected to be the developments in Kosovo since 17 April and the parliamentary and local elections that will take place in Serbia on Sunday.

The second meeting on 22 May, to be lead by the ISG chairman and EU representative for Kosovo, Dutch diplomat Pieter Feith, will gather in Prishtina the political directors of the foreign ministries of the ISG member countries to consider the repercussions for Kosovo of Serb elections which Serbia insists it will also hold in Kosovo.

ISG, which consists of 15 countries that support Kosovo independence, was set up to guide Kosovo on the implementation of the Ahtisaari plan.
