Kosovars not included in talks on UNMIK's reconfiguration PDF Print E-mail
Friday, 16 May 2008

ImageKosovars continue to be excluded from the discussions that are being held between New York and EU representatives on how the international presence will function in Kosovo after June 15.

The Kosovo leadership supported Ahtisaari’s plan, according to which UNMIK would leave Kosovo after the four-month transition period, reports Zëri. According to the paper, this scenario is no longer in the plan and there are now efforts being made to somehow find a place for UNMIK in Kosovo even after June 15.

There is no information that Kosovo leaders have been included in these talks, which will have a strong influence on developments in Kosovo after June 15.

Kosovo independence does not have any UN legitimacy or legality.
Totally illegal.
It is a breach of UN resolution 1244 and the Helsinki Final Act.
All these basic documents absolutely guarantee Serbia's sovereignty and territorial integrity in its current, internationally recognized borders

It does not matter what you do.
It does not matter what you say or declare.
It does not matter how many countries recognize you (even thou 162 do not!)
As long as Serbia does not recognize you you will never be truly independent!

Whatever decision they make or bring without the authorities of Kosovo Goverment, means it is ILLEGAL and does not oblige us to endorse or practice accordingly,or if it doesnt sute us we will not respect it. So in all this there is something positive about this indiference toward us .
