The EU envoy for talks between Pristina and Belgrade, Wolfgang Ischinger, said that “all pessimist voices regarding the terrible consequences that the independence of Kosovo would bring, were not real,” adding that the independence of Kosovo was the right choice.

“Same as before, I think that independence of Kosovo was the right choice and that there was no other alternative, but… supervised independence,” Ischinger said to German radio.
