The ICTY has informed that it will not initiate any investigations in regards to the claims made about organs trafficking by KLA, report papers.

ICTY Spokeswoman told the Serbian media that the Prosecution’s Office has received some requests in regards to this issue and that it will offer all information it has on this, but the outgoing strategy of the Tribunal prohibits the initiation of new investigations.

The outgoing strategy of the Tribunal drafted by the Security Council prohibits the Prosecution to start new investigations after the year 2004.

ICTY Spokeswoman also explained that the Tribunal had previously done an investigation in regards to trafficking of human organs and that the insufficient proofs were not enough to investigate further in that direction.
