Kosovo was one of the central topics discussed in the NATO Parliamentarian Assembly, which is being held in Berlin. For the first time in such a high-level meeting, a Kosovo delegation (Xhavit Haliti, Naim Maloku, Slobodan Petrovic) is participating.

After the presentation of a study about the political perspective of Kosovo and the relations of Kosovo with Serbia, the Russian delegation reacted, assessing that Kosovo’s independence is a violation of the territorial integrity of Serbia.

Kosovo Assemblymember Xhavit Haliti thanked NATO and requested the recognition of Kosovo’s independence from the states that have not already done so.
