U.S. denies it has criticized Kosovo
The paper reports on a press release issued by the U.S. Embassy in Kosovo denying that U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary Rosemary DiCarlo, in her visit to Pristina, criticised the Kosovo Government for not doing a good enough job on lobbying for new recognitions of independence. The statement says that the U.S. regretted these reports were carried by certain media in Kosovo as DiCarlo “made no such comments.”

However KTV which first reported on the issue said in its news edition last night that the report was based on information from sources close to the meeting DiCarlo had with Kosovo leaders.
