Vetėvendosje: EULEX must report to the Assembly of Kosovo PDF Print E-mail
Friday, 27 June 2008
ImageThe International Civilian Representative and EULEX Chief in Kosovo should once a week report to the Kosovo Assembly, in order to be held accountable in Kosovo, requested on Thursday Albin Kurti, the leader of the ‘Vetëvendosje’ (Self-determination) movement.

On this occasion he recommended to the Kosovo institutions how to limit and how to keep the international presences in Kosovo accountable, which according to “Vetëvendosja” are getting bigger every day.

“Once we had UNMIK, now reconfigured, which is not clearly known what this reconfiguration is. We have the ICO and EULEX has arrived.

KFOR works according to the Kumanovo agreements. This complication of the power scheme is the main mirror why citizens are confused and can not identify the reasons for their problems,” Kurti is quoted as saying.
