Presheva Municipality Headquarters
The new political majority in the Presheva Municipality in southern Serbia constituted on Tuesday the main institutions of the local government.
 
The coalition consists of the Party for Democratic Action with 13 municipal representatives and the Albanian Democratic Party with 12 representatives.
 
Albanians in the Presheva municipality make up 93% of the population. In the region of the Presheva Valley, which also includes the municipalities of Bujanoc with 65% Albanian and Medvegja with 30%, the total number of Albanians is around 100,000.
