Kosovo foreign minister to visit Czech Republic

Invited by the Czech Foreign Minister Karel Schwarzenberg, Kosovo Foreign Minister, Skënder Hyseni, will be conducting a one day visit in the Czech Republic.

The official visit is scheduled for Friday, 22 August. Besides the meeting with his counterpart, Schwarzenberg, the Kosovar chief diplomat is expected to have various meetings with Czech cabinet members and parliamentarians.

Czech Republic recognized Republic of Kosovo on May 21. At the Kosovo International Donors’ Conference, Czech Republic declared it would donate over 4 million Euros and also offered to assist Kosovo in development of the economy, education, legal system and active participation in the EULEX mission.
