Mayor Rexhepi also informed Deputy Minister Dedaj that his Mitrovica Municipality has allotted 14 apartments for the war veterans, citizens who live in difficult economic conditions, and the ethnically cleansed Albanian families from the northern section of Mitrovica. Rexhepi expressed his commitment to continue cooperating with Ministry of Work and Social Wellbeing of the Republic of Kosovo to solve some of the current residential issues.

Whereas the chairman of the Mitrovica Department of Administration, Ismail Smaka, said that certain municipal services are ready to start to assess the technical issues of the project which would open the door for the realization of the retirement home.
