Turkey to lobby for Kosovo in the Islamic world

Turkey will intensify its lobbying activities in the countries which are members of the Islamic Conference to continue increasing the number of recognitions of Kosovo independence.

 
The information was relayed by the Turkish minister, Said Yazicioglu, during the meeting with the president and prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo.

Kosovo leadership has informed that by the end of this week there will be the first appointments of charge d'afaires to the first ten embassies of the the Republic of Kosovo, amongst which is the Kosovo Embassy in Turkey.

Yazicioglu emphasized that Turkey is very dedicated to assist Kosovo to become a successful story in the world. For this reason, Turkey will intensify its lobbying activities in the countries which are members of the Islamic Conference.

"Turkey has been contiously assisting Kosovo to further its progress. For this reason Turkey will pursue diplomatic lobbying on behalf of Kosovo to increase the number of recognitions and assist Kosovo to strengthen its geopolitical position in the world."
