Admirers of the German cinematography in Kosovo will have the chance for the whole week to enjoy films that represent the country during the fourth Week of German Film organized in Kosovo.
Film Auf der anderen Seite directed by Fatih Akin opened the week on
Monday. Until Sunday 14 artistic, documentary and children's films will
be shown at the "Kinostudio" in Prishtina. Two of them will have the
first showings outside Germany: Das Feuerschiff and Balkan
Traffic - Übermorgen Nirgendwo.
A special occasion will be Sunday morning when the attendees will be
able to listen to the German writer Siegried Lenz reading his short
prose work and then watch the film Das Feuerschiff based on a novel
by the same name of Lenz.
All films are subtitled in Albanian and English and entrance is free.
