Kosovo Serb arrested for war crimes

A Kosovo Serb has been arrested yesterday on suspicion of committing war crimes in 1999.

Kosovo Police Service (KPS) members in Vushtrri arrested Dejan Tomic, employed by the Vushtrri Municipality.

According to the KPS spokesperson in the Mitrovica region, Tomic was arrested based on a warrant by the Court of the Mitrovica region.

Tomic will be held in detention for 72 hours.
