Nine months after the independence of Kosovo, the European Union is still winding in Kosovo. With the help of Russia at the disfuctional UN Security Council, Serbia is threatening to fail the EULEX mission.
"With craft and mischievous policy, Serbia has accomplished to put wedges between the European Union and the United Nations as result of misunderstanding of Serbia's dirty games and lack of determination of the European Union bureaucrats to resolve issues and instead not appease to the destructive policies of Serbia towards Kosovo and the Balkans region", write the daily German papers.
The German dailies quote the chief of European Union Foreign Policy, Xavier Solana stating that with these demanding acts, EU mission in Kosovo is seriously at peril. Meanwhile Serbia President Tadic has demanded that EULEX to remain under UN umbrella, neutral towards Kosovo status and EU to give up the Ahtisaari Plan, which it's not only unacceptable for Kosovo state but indeed insulting to their sacrifices for freedom.
The German Daily Shafhauzner Nachrichten states that the European Union is losing credibility among Kosovo leadership and Kosovar citizens. Brussels is keen to integrate all the Balkan states (Bosnia, Croatia, Kosovo, Montengro, Macedonia and Serbia), but reluctant to issue direct threats to Serbia for its destructive acts due to possible spread of Russian influence.
The daily paper writes that the position of Kosovar leadership, particularly of Prime Minister Thaçi is very difficult because of the European Union pressure on one side and Kosovar citizens which that's what truly matters, on the other side.
"Due to the weakling and lack of a united policy of European Union towards Kosovo, the Kosovar policities have oriented their faith and trust to the United States of America, as the only reliable and seriously determined factor to resolve issues in Kosovo and the Balkans, noting that EU has never been able to resolve any issues in the the Balkans" concludes Shafhauzner Nachriten.
Meanwhile Kosovar leaders are determined to keep their promises before the citizens of the newlyborn nation, the Republic of Kosovo. They have refused any agreement that violates the sovereign territory of the Republic of Kosovo.

... 1244 is a dead issue and doesn't hold credence anymore, with any leaders. EU and UN is losing its credibility everywhere, not just with Kosova citizens. And, you don't have to raise your voice to be on guard against trouble makers from Serbia and their kind in the EU. Albanian leadership is doing and saying the right thing because we have time on our side, Serbian leadership does not. Their people are making demands Tadic is now incapable of bringing it to them. And for the typical Serbian person, Kosova issue does not top their list of issues to resolve at the moment. Jobs, and incomes (pensions) and their economy is about take several blows which will make Milosevic's int'lly sanctioned economies of the 90s feel more economically viable for them than this imminent "recession" or "depression" about to hit the fan. |

I would say to every kosovo citizen out there dont be fooled by serb-russian propaganda and their politics, move on with your lives and don let EU to decide over your fututre, u got help from USA,UK AND GERMANY, and thats enough help for 2.2 mil of kosovars...
