United States rejects UN plan for Kosovo

During the intensive meetings with European Union and UN diplomats, Kosovar leaders were not alone when they rejected the UN six point plan and neutral EULEX.

"One of the countries from the Contact Group, with a veto power at UN Security Council,  the world's superpower, the United States has rejected the document proposed by the UN", a plan which appeases the destructive policies of Serbia  and was unfortunately accepted by the divided European Union, confirms an influential European diplomat.

The US is expected to express its support at the UN session for the Republic of Kosovo stance regarding the issue and utterly rejecting the document which it violates the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo.

"The UN presidential declaration regarding the plan is very unlikely," reveals one diplomat who asked to remain anonymous.

President Sejdiu and Prime Minister Thaci have spoken not only with diplomats credited in Prishtina but also with US State Department Officials in Washington DC.

Also, last week, US State Department officials, have stressed the importance of the deployment of EULEX as a way to strengthen the sovereign institutions of the state of Kosovo by implementing the Ahtisaari plan and respecting the power of  the democratic Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo.

Some influential European and American diplomats who were involved in resolving the issue of Kosovo have stressed that they believe that the Serbian demanded plan can legalize partition, illegal parallel structures, foment ethnic violence and weaken the institutions of the state of Kosovo.

Meanwhile, daily European newspapers indicate that EU has lost all credibility in Kosovo with the latest decision.

Without USA approval et SC there will be no green light for EULEX, To get this green light shame EU should get green light from Kosovar. It's seems that will be no green light in this time from Kosovar side. NO will remain NO up to the further proposal, which shoukd contain all nessecary requirements from Kosovar side. In that case EULEX have to re-change it's position. Than Serbs will not excepte. So what remain. Blody EU with blody politic. Shine Solana and is failer. Solana should go home. This cooking came from his side. EU faild. Eulex is dead. Make it alive again if they can. God help Kosovars and Amerika.

This is gonna lead to more ethnic tensions, territorial divisions with probably having north of kosovo under serbia as the end result!
The moment the Kosovo Gov accepts this plan we will be in the brink of a new Balkan war, and there will be noone competent to stop it!

Adem, as far as I understood, this agreement consists in dismantling borders with serbia, give a special status to mitrovica ( republica srpska style ), and legalize the belgrade authority in the north, which includes schools, transport, energy, communication etc....

To Adem:
This was the most complete description I could find of the plan: "separate Serb police, customs and judiciary system in northern Kosovo, agreed by Serbia as precondition for deployment of EU mission across all the territory."
