If the agreement for the six point reached, Kosovo will suffer colossal economical losses. In essence, Kosovo will be turned into an oasis for organized crime because a part of Kosovo territory would not be covered legally and constitutionally by the Republic of Kosovo institutions. The President of Kosovo Chamber of Commerce Besim Beqaj made these comments during an informal meeting with the media.

 

If the Constitution of Kosova is not applied throughout the entire territory of Kosova, then Kosova will have problems and colossal economic losses. Commenting on the Ban Ki-moon’s six points proposal, the President of the Kosovo Chamber of Commerce Besim Beqaj emphasized that the damage to the budget of Kosovo would be huge.
 
“This would be a very serious issue. This would cause us colossal losses. This would be an oasis for organized crime because a part of the Kosovo territory would not be covered legally and constitutionally by the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo,” Beqaj said.
 
"Apart from the millions of Euros loss to the budget of Kosovo, the functioning of this agreement would also carry a great impact on the loss of trust among the possible investors who want to invest and do business in Kosovo," Beqaj added.
 
Next year, Beqaj added, the Kosovo Chamber of Commerce will establish an office for the protection of businesses.
