A small explosion has gone off in Prishtina near the ICO/EUSR office. The office is headed by the veteran European diplomat Pieter Faith and is charged with the supervision of the implementation of the Ahtisaari Plan, which led to Kosovo independence.

Kosovo police authorities do not have any suspects.

“Such an ugly crime cannot affect Kosovo’s pro-European poliicy,” said Kosovo PM Hashim Thaçi, adding “the authors of this criminal act are enemies of Kosovo.”

Pieter Faith has been supportive of the Kosovo authorities in the latest tension over the Serbia-UN plan.  He has also been a strong supporter of EULEX-deployment throughout the country in accordance with Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo.

Kosovo does not yet have its own intelligence or counter-intelligence services.

I'm very angry for that. Furthermore they are some voices who blame kosovars for that. It's definitively crazy. Who has done that surely will not get what he's expecting.

Regarding Kosovars they are standing in the side of they're natural allies. They condemned largely this act. It is not difficult to imagine who are happy for that. At least they are not too far from here. The strange thing is that after being accusative to West as they're enemies now they are aiming to enter in Europe. On the other side still throwing "stones" and hiding the hand.

God Day
