New wave of privatization in Kosovo

Kosovo Privatization Agency has announced Wave 33 of privatization. Eight new companies have been created from six old socially owned enterprises (SOEs), and once again, most of them include agricultural land.

Among the companies, on the Prishtina-Skopje road are 38 hectares of agricultural land, in the Skenderaj municipality are 204 hectares of arable land, in the Kline municipality are available 142 hectares of agricultural land suitable for different cultures, and in the Deçan municipality are available 200 hectares now cultivated with hazel and cherry trees but suitable for other cultures.

Prequalification deadline is 10 December 2008. Offer acceptance takes place on 17 December 2008 between 10:00-13:00 and offer opening at 13:00.
