Kosovo President and Prime Minister visiting the UK PDF Print E-mail
Wednesday, 19 November 2008
ImagePresident Fatmir Sejdiu and Prime Minister Hashim Thaçi  of the Republic of Kosovo will visit the UK from today until 21st November, as guests of the UK Government.

During the programme of calls they will meet the Prime Minister Gordon Brown and the Foreign Secretary David Miliband. The President will also give a lecture at the London School of Economics on the essential role that Kosovo can play in peace and security in the region.

This visit reinforces UK support for Kosovo and its future European perspective. The United Kingdom was among the first nations to recognize Kosovo as a sovereign and independent country and it has been a strong advocate of Kosovo independence.
