Kosovo currently is a model of coexistence of Christians and Muslims for other parts of Europe," stated Catholic Bishop of Prague Václav Malý.

"There is mutual understanding in the religious scene of Kosovo, especially between Muslims and Catholics, who are united because they are Albanian," Monsignor Malý told in Prague the journalisms upon his return from the trip to Kosovo.

Monsignor Malý noted that coexistence with the Serb Orthodox Church was not easy, because its leaders unfortunately have played the nationalistic card.

"The Catholic Church has a good name in Kosovo and has developed its charity network," said Bishop Monsignor Malý and concluded that he would like to see Czech catholic charities in Kosovo.

Dear SERGE i am Catholic and i live in Prishtina city the capital of Kosova and their are 5 churches just in this city. and in entire Kosova their are more than 50 churches and only god know how many priests.
And just for your information their are day by day more and more Albanians going back to their old religion the catholic religion ( not that we care which religion one is because in this GREAT country KOSOVA Catholic and Muslim get married every day) . So dear SERBIAN friend stop the propaganda.

Czech society has had its share of peddlers of Serbian propaganda, like the drunkard Jiří Dienstbier.
Such propaganda has of course been trying to make Christians believe that the Kosovars targeted Serbs "because they are Christian", whereas they did because those were pseudo-nationalist oppressors.
