The Network of Young European Filmmakers NISI MASA, as part of the festival One Take, held in Zagreb 19-22 November 2008, picked the best screenplays on the theme of "Escape."
Out of 26 screenplays selected on the national level, among which
was Kosovo, NISI MASA will support the three winners in production and
European-wide distribution.
Second place belonged to Ariel Shaban of Kosovo who won with his "Wedding Tape."
"Wedding tape" deals with the absurdity of bureaucracy of
European embassies towards Balkan youth. The topic has been treated
sarcastically and talks about a young Kosovar who has to stage a fake
wedding to get his visa.
NISI MASA will support the distribution of the films in European cinemas and festivals.
