The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Hashim Thaçi, met with Mr. Pierre Mirel, the European
Commission Director for the Western Balkans. The topic of discussion
was the meeting of the Tracking Mechanism of the
Stabilization and Association Process.
Prime Minister Thaçi informed Mr. Mirel about the preparations made to ensure that the next day’s meeting would be successful.
The
Government of Kosovo has cooperated closely with the European
Commission and values the progress report regarding this cooperation.
“Kosovo
is determined to fulfill all conditions and to become, as quickly as
possible, a member of the European Union institutions and of NATO,”
said Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo Hashim Thaçi.
Meanwhile,
Mr. Pierre Mirel said that the Republic of Kosovo has a clear European future and that
the next day’s meeting would be productive because it would make the
points of cooperation between the European Commission and the
Government of Kosovo even clearer.
Mr.
Mirel expressed his high esteem for the results of the Donors’
Conference for Kosovo and for the responsible work of the Government of
Kosovo.
