Orthodox pious in Central and Eastern Europe and in other parts of the globe celebrated yesterday, 7 January, Christmas based on the Gregorian Calendar.

On this occasion the Republic of Kosovo institutional heads, the President and the Prime Minister, have sent messages of felicitation to the Serb Orthodox worshipers with wishes for understanding, love for one another, joyful celebrations in the warmth of their families or amongst friends and for harmony, tolerance and progress to rule all over the country and beyond.

The Orthodox Christmas midnight mass was held at the Gracanica Monastery near Prishtina.
