Kosovo PM to visit Brussels

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, is expected to make a visit for several days in Brussels in the upcoming weekend. He will be meeting with the High Representative for the European Union Common Foreign and Security Policy, Xavier Solana, and the European Commissioner for Enlargement, Olli Rehn.
 
"The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo will be traveling tomorrow afternoon or the day after tomorrow to Brussels and he will be meeting with the High Representative for the European Union Common Foreign and Security Policy, Xavier Solana, and the European Commissioner for Enlargement, Olli Rehn,", the Government's spokesperson, Memli Krasniqi ,says.

According to the officials of the Kosovar government, the purpose of this visit will be the discussion of the recent developments in Kosovo and the coordination with the European institutions during the process of the Kosovo's integration in the European Union family.

Meanwhile, the office of the EU's High Representative, Xavier Solana, was not able to confirm the visit on Tuesday, the Kosovar daily newspaper Koha Ditore informs.
