Congress and Event Organization (CEO) as the organizers of the fair have announced that the fair will present products and services from the construction sector, energy sector, technology sector, machinery, and the sector of furniture.
At the occassion of the opening of the Eighth International 2009 Kos-Expo Fair, the Kosovo PM promised the business community to offer further cooperation and most appropriate business climate in Kosovo with an aim to become a model for development in the Balkans region.

Sheriff Ahmeti, a former worker in Trepca mine for 30 years, has donated to Kosovo Prime Minister Hashim Thaci, a precious stone in the form of double-headed eagle from a tiny snippet of the crystal.
This fair has gathered together 17 states with over 260 companies, products which have exposed their construction.

The Eighth International 2009 Kos-Expo Fair is characterized this year with a broad participation of companies exhibitors from Kosovo, European Union countries and other european nations.
