Kosovar students, among other 600 foreign students from 70 countries attending Fatih University, participated in a " 7 Colors 7 Continents" festival on Tuesday in Turkey.

Students gathered in the name of peace from countries of Cambodia to China, Azerbaijan to Russia, Senegal to Canada, Italy to Sweden, and Holland to Kosovo. The festival has a long standing tradition that started five years ago. The festival is sponsored by Bank Asya in Turkey.

Among the large number of students that attended the festival were ambassadors and generals of foreign countries. At the opening, Fatih University Prof. Dr. Oguz Borat gave a speech saying, "70 countries, including Turkeys established festival, attend the friendly festival to exhibit their culture and make a bridge of peace. Our hope is that this festival will give the world the same universal message of peace."

An African Music Group performed during the ceremony that received a lot of attention from the audience. Followed by the presentation, awards were given out to successful students studying at Fatih University.

After the awards ceremony, the Taichi show from China, the African Dance Group, the Kazakhstan Dance Group, and the Kosovo dance group staged their own performances representing the image of peace around the world.

The Festival of peace was a day of food, music, and dance; festival that was very much alive and full of heart-warming laughs. The scent of cuisines from across the globe carried through the air as a blend of lively music played from every direction at the 7 Colors 7 Continents festival.
