The Red Line play directed by Jeton Budima and based on the book "Empty Chair" of the author, Luis Humberto, was premiered on Saturday evening at the Istref Begolli Theater in Peja, Kosovo.

The play narrates the conflict between an outter objective boundary, which it's identified with a passport of an internal border depicted with imagination, fantasy, sentimental memory and our superego. A dimension that remains in our memory since the young age and never disappears regardless of the geographical, ethnical and social status diferences.

"Tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, the border may disappear, or would remain internal to each of us."

These phrases that relate to the emergence of such ideas, give the best illustratation of the textual adaptation, change, and reduction that were given to comprehend the circumstances of the modern society where people live in full freedom without obstacles of laws, treaties, taxes, or passports.

The Red Line starring by Vedat Haxhiislami, Ardian Biba, and Arbresha Grabovci is described as a major play by the arts critics.

The director himself also plays a small part in the performance. It seems sentimental that Budima is taking part in the play.

The music composed by Filonid Gjikolli will be playing associated with the acts of of the play that actors will perform during the screening.

Live music over the years has been seen as becoming a trend in various theatrical performances throughout Kosovo.

The Red Line will also be premiered in Prishtina on early June of this year. Director Budima hopes the show will continue to be presented even in other countries, since according to him, the show is worth to be seen by the public.
