Inside Justice, a court TV show in Kosovo

Awareness and understanding of the importance of the Republic of Kosovo's judical system by the Kosovar society, this time will not be brochures and advertisement, but a very much anticipated to be popular and perhaps an atypical pattern in the western Balkans, a soap opera, a court TV show.
 
In a courtroom, indictments, charges, counter-charges, trials, are just some of the things that Inside Justice, the newest original TV series, is premiering to the Kosovar audience.The television series chronicles the life and crimes, usually adapted from real-life headlines, of the Justice system in Kosovo.

So far, Inside Justice has already completed nine episodes to be debuted, using Kosovo's Judicial System. The first episode will broadcast Wednesday, May 27th to the public in Kosovo. "Cameras are drawn in the court room with refined taste, each series covering various civil and criminal issues."

One of the producers of "Inside Justice", Ilir Bokshi, talked about the original idea behind the project. "The idea for the television series was given to us by UNDP (UN Development Programme) and elaborates the topic of justice in the Kosovar society, " Bokshi says, adding that another director also takes part in the production of the series, Fatos Berisha.

"Out of the nine episodes completed, five were produced by me and four by Berisha," said Bokshi. Nevertheless, "Inside Justice", according to the production team, is based on many popular legal drama series in other parts of the world.

The TV show Inside Justice will include famous Kosovar actors/actresses such as Astrit Kabashi, Gresa Pallaska, Lirak Celaj, Arta Mucaj, Ilire Celaj, Dibran Tahiri, Xjejlane Godani, Luan Jaha, Arben Kastrati, Ilir Prapashtica, Myrvete Kurtishi, Armond Morina, and Adrian Morina. "The viewers will enjoy the "Inside Justice" series, " expressed Bokshi with optimism.

"The series will represent public interest in the civil and criminal justice system, therefore I believe that the series will be an immediate hit," said Bokshi. Episodes were written by screenwriters Doruntina Basha, Visar Krusheva, and Ilir Gjocaj, while subject lines and voice ranges by Ilir Bajri.

The television series is the third series that is originated in Kosovo, and will debut to television during June and July of this year.

Transparency and establishment of a stronger justidicial system in the newborn nation remains the goal of this show. Sociologically, this TV show could become the beacon of making Kosovo judicial system an exemplary for other Balkan nations in the near future.
