As part of a series of meetings with foreign ministers on the first day of his visit to New York, Skender Hyseni, Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Republic of Kosovo, had a cordial meeting with Naser F. Judeh, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

Minister Hyseni thanked his counter-part for Jordan’s recognition of Kosovo, and its support in other significant areas.

He also reminded the Minister that Jordan’s influence within the Organization of the Islamic Conference could assist in encouraging additional recognitions.

Minister Judeh was enthusiastic about the prospect of future recognitions. He stated that recognizing Kosovo had been a duty for Jordan, occurring at an extremely important moment.

Both discussed the necessity of intensifying bilateral cooperation.
