Skender Hyseni, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo, met with Sheik Abdullah bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, in order to discuss deepening cooperation and increasing coordination of international activities with other countries, and international organizations.

Bilateral relations were also discussed, including methods of cooperation, and the need to increase and speed up the number of states recognizing Kosovo.

Minister Hyseni invited his counterpart from the United Arab Emirates to visit Kosovo, and his invitation was accepted by Minister Abdullah bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

This visit is anticipated to take place in November this year.

United Arab Emirates recognized Kosovo as an independent and sovereign country last year.
