President decrees Republic of Kosovo Ambassador to Hungary PDF Print E-mail

ImageThe President of the Republic of Kosovo, Fatmir Sejdiu, yesterday decreed the new Republic of Kosovo Ambassador to the Republic of Hungary, Shkendije Sherifi, who will be resident in Budapest.

The decree was signed in accordance with articles 84.10 and 84.25 of the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo, and the Presidential Decree of February 10, 2009, which stiuplated the establishment of a Diplomatic Mission at the Embassy level in the Republic of Hungary.
 
Hungary was among the first countries that recognized Kosovo's independence last year. The Republic of Kosovo's Parliament Speaker is scheduled to make an official visit Budapest later this year.
