The Republic of Kosovo Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Valton Beqiri, took part in activities promoting the Cultural Center of France, which will be organized during the last three months of this year and during 2010. In this promotion event was also present  French Ambassador to the Republic of kosovo, Mr. François Xavier Deniau.

During this promotional meeting, the Chairman of the French Cultural Center, Rafet Rudi, presented numerous activities that this center will organize from now on, adding that, through various forms, French Cultural Center aims to create a permanent creative collaboration with artists and national cultural institutions.

Meanwhile, Minister Beqiri thanked French Cultural Center and Embassy of France for their important role in organizing and promoting cultural events, as well as the given support to the Kosovar artists. "Kosovar Francophone cultural activity" he said, "not only promotes French language and culture, but also enriches the cultural environment in Kosovo."

On the other hand, Ambassador François Xavier Deniau said, with its long experience in promoting multicultural values, France can help Kosovo, adding that, in this context, the possibilities of cultural cooperation between the two countries are numerous.
