The Investment Promotion Agency of Kosovo (IPAK) has successfully completed an export promotion mission in Italy, enabling the exports of various Kosovar products such as food, medical plants, flowers, conveyor belts, wood products, metals, etc.

The mission was successfully used by 13 Kosovar companies which have already signed export contracts of nearly 2 million Euros, while exports worth additional 3 million Euros are still being negotiated.

The Director of IPAK, Mustafe Hasani, stated that the results of this mission were impressive. Not only the signed export contracts but also the establishing of business linkages and long term cooperation are very important, said Hasani.

This is a great step in the right direction for Kosovo. The top priority for the government must be an increase in exports. Everything else is just distribution of too little wealth... Now, there just needs to be more products that are exportable. We are hoping to create hundreds of millions of dollars worth of exports through companies started at Genesis Technology Center in the next 5 years.
