ImageFormer U.S. President, Bill Clinton, is scheduled to visit Kosovo on Sunday, informs the office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo.

He will attend the ceremony of the revelation of his statue in the Bill Clinton Square in Prishtina.

The head of the Kosovo Government promised a magnificent reception for the American friend. He said Clinton is "great man, who has done a lot for independence and freedom of Kosovo".

Prime Minister Thaci also called citizens to gather on Sunday in the Bill Clinton Square . The Kosovar Prime Minister  thanked all U.S. administrations for support that has been given to the people of Kosovo. Also, it was announced that former President Clinton will address a message to the citizens of Kosovo at the occasion.

His visit to Kosovo is the first since Kosovo declared independence, however he has visited Kosovo in the past.

The almost ten feet statue of the former U.S. President Bill Clinton has been erected in the same square that holds his name in the Prishtina, capital of Kosovo. However, the revelation of the statue was delayed due to the busy agenda of the former American President.

The statue erected to President Clinton is being sponsored by and under the auspices of the Prime Minister Thaci.
