The Republic of Kosovo is ready to introduce new vehicle license plates. Out of the three versions of the license plates that made it to the final round of the bid, the Interior Ministry has selected the final version.

The final version of the license plates was selected by the working group headed by the Interior Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Zenun Pajazi, and other experts of the ministry and traffic police.

Kosovo's new license plates will contain the letters RKS on the blue section, then two a digit number, the state coat of arms, a three-digit number and finaly two intitials of the Republic of Kosovo's regions.

Kosovo's vehicle license plates will have four different versions, but will be in the same basic format.
