The young Balkan nation, the Republic of Kosovo Diplomatic Mission may soon have its first Kosovar Serb as ambassador to neighborng  Macadonia. Advisor to Prime Minister Hashim Thaci on community issues, Srdjan Sentic, is rumored to be Kosovo's possible ambassador to Macedonia. The 30-year-old works in Prishtina but along with his family lives in Skopje. He was born in Gjilan and speaks well Albanian and English.

Contacted by KTV television, Sentic has said he has no formal invitation, but has received signals from different sources on this issue. "Nothing is official. I can say that based on the contacts I have with many officials, there were several signals on this issue," said Sentic.

Competition for Kosovo ambassador to Macedonia is still open and applications for this position are still being received. Another name being mentioned for the ambassadorship to Skopje is Ylber Hysa, status talks negotiator.

Discussions at the offices of Kosovo leaders for the man who will represent the interests of the country in the neighboring state have not stopped. Kosovo Foreign Minister Skender Hyseni did not answer directly, saying that the opportunity to apply for the ambassadorship is open to all citizens.
