The Kosovo Property Agency has begun to implement its decisions to free illegally occupied property and to begin a renting scheme in the northern part of Mitrovica.
Xhevat Azemi from PKA said the agency has received around 1,000 claims for property and all have been decided on but the implementation of the decisions in the north was not possible.
However, Azemi noted that support from the Kosovo Police is now helping the process.
